Take a moment to read the following quote from Shane Duffey…
“If I want to excel as a leader I must continue to learn new things, develop better processes, tweak the organizational structure and implement great strategy. But, those things will never be enough and will always be left wanting if I forget to look into the lives of those I lead, ask God for insight and when appropriate, make it personal.”
The reason that I am putting this on my blog is because Shane taught me this without ever publicly saying it. He displayed it in how he lead me. You see, Shane was my direct supervisor for around about a year. I learned a lot from Shane, each time I met with him I was stretched and challenged. We had some tough conversations, some professional conversations, and some very personal conversation that really displayed that he truly cared about me as a person. So basically, he is the real deal…he practices what he preaches…he leads from the overflow of his relationship with Jesus!
Thanks Shane! You are the man!

Thanks Alden… that means a lot to me. Love you, bro!
