Pray it up

This desire of this post is SIMPLE!  Please pray for me and my staff as we are doing everything we can to prepare for this weekend as we launch our Columbia Campus.

Honestly, as I type this it feels as my body is beginning to shut down.  I have been going for a long time with little rest.  My actions and pace have been unbiblical and is sin. I will have to deal with the consequences of my choices.  With that being said, I would ask that you pray for me and recovery, as I feel that sickness heading my way.

I hate this for MANY reasons….

  • I could have possibly prevented this with adequate rest.
  • I saw it coming and did nothing.
  • It is horrible timing.
  • I am so excited about what God will do this Sunday and I don’t want to miss a single detail.
  • I don’t like feeling like this.
  • I am not prepared for this lack of energy.

Anyway, I would appreciate your prayers!!

Regardless, come and join us for one of our 2 services (9:15AM & 11:15AM) at our Columbia Campus!  Look forward to seeing you there…I promise, I won’t hug you or breathe on you :)

SEPTEMBER 27th

On September 27th, we will launch the Columbia Campus.  There are so many reason why I am excited about this, but I am very excited how we will start the campus.  We will begin a new series at our church and this series will hit home with a lot of people and answer a lot of questions that people have.  So, to launch our Columbia Campus we will launch with a series titled, “How to Survive the End of the World!”  You do not want to miss this.
What happens when it all comes crashing down? When the mightiest nations fall, when hope is lost, and nothing will stop the countdown to The End? Where do we turn?

Join us on September 27th for one of our two morning services (9:15AM and 11:15AM) and click here for directions to the campus. See you there!!

It is almost here!!

At this time next week, I will be filled with so much excitement and also very nervous.  We are on a countdown to our LIVE launch at the NewSpring Columbia Campus.  With that being said, we still have a lot of things that need to be done, so if you are in the Columbia area and want to help out in anyway, let us know!  You can email me at Columbia@newspring.cc or using the contact link above.  We would love to have you join us as we take care of a lot of finishing touches.

Also, we will be having a workday next Saturday from 9AM-2PM at the campus to get some of the landscaping wrapped up and put some finishing touches on the campus. Bring your rake, weedeater, shovel, gloves, leaf blower, and a bag lunch.  Let us know if you can be there.

The auditorium looks awesome!  It is going to be amazing, so make sure you make plans NOW to be there!!

NewSpring Columbia Campus Sunday Reflections

Today was an unbelievable day! Nervousness and excitement flowed through my veins. At 10:30 this morning people began to fill the auditorium and you could feel a sense of anticipation building! Here are some of the highlights from today:

*132 people including kids attended the soft launch
*6 people went public for Jesus
*A father and his middle school daughter took care of directing traffic and did a FANTASTIC job.
*Got to see 9 people serve at NewSpring for the first time…using their gifts for God’s glory.
*The acoustic set was off the charts…it sounded incredible
*A volunteer came setup the sound system and ran it this morning…by the way, it was his system that we were able to borrow and it was awesome.
*A young lady took care of running the service slides and I believe that it was her first time doing it….and she did a GREAT job!
*We had 6 volunteers in KidSpring…trained and ready to roll.
*John Shelton and Stephen Cope, my staff, rocked it out this past week! Guys, I am so glad to serving with you! You guys are slaying it!!
*The best part of all is that we get to do it all again next Sunday at 10:30 AM!

We will have our last soft service this coming Sunday and then we will be launching LIVE on the September 27th, with services at 9:15AM and 11:15AM!! After a long day…I am toast!

Will I Sleep Tonight?

Will I sleep tonight?  I doubt it!  Tomorrow is the first “soft” launch service at the Columbia Campus!!  There are some many things going through my mind that it is hard to sort through them!! I am looking forward to….

  • see who shows up that we have no clue who would be there
  • see new members volunteer for the first time
  • see people reactions to Perry’s message
  • see how people worship God at the Columbia Campus
  • see how decides to join teh movement after tomorrow
  • seeing it ALL take place.

Pray for our Columbia Campus tomorrow!  It will be a big day…the FIRST of MANY more to come!!

Seriously…We are about to Launch!

I am blown away that we are so close to our launch on September 27th!  It is going to be like Christmas.  I have been waiting for that day since the beginning of this year!  So many emotions are running through my mind, but the only thing that I will be thinking about that day is the fact that people who are far from Jesus will hear the gospel and some of them will cross over from death to life.  That is the reason we do what we do.  That will be worth everything that we are going to through to get there.  Please join us in praying for Jesus to be made famous and He shines bright on that day and every Sunday after.

It is going to be awesome because we will be launching a new series on that day, called “How to Survive the End of the World!” You will not want to miss it!  Check out the promo video for it:
